  • Yes, I can communicate in Spanish to assist with scheduling and general questions. However, all notarial acts are performed in English in compliance with Texas law. I do not translate documents or provide legal advice.

  • A Notary Public is a state-commissioned official who verifies identities, witnesses signatures, and helps prevent fraud. A notary ensures that documents are signed willingly and that the signer is who they claim to be.

  • We can explain the notarial process, but we cannot explain or advise on the legal contents of your document. Please consult an attorney if you have questions.

  • No. We are not attorneys and cannot draft, prepare, or provide legal advice on documents. You must have your documents prepared before your appointment.

  • We can notarize your Power of Attorney once it is completed. However, you will need to obtain the document from an attorney or a trusted legal source before your appointment.

  • You must bring:

    • ‍ ‍A valid government-issued photo ID

    • Prefilled documents needing notarization (all signature fields must be left blank)

    • Deposit must be paid

    • Remaining payment due

  • All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at the time of the notarization. The name on the ID must match the name on the document.

    Acceptable forms of identification typically include:

    • State Driver’s License
    • State Identification Card
    • U.S. Passport
    • Military Identification Card

    The ID must be current or issued within the last few years and contain a photograph, physical description, and signature.

    If a signer does not have proper identification, the notarization cannot be completed.

    If you are unsure whether your ID will be accepted, please contact us before scheduling your appointment.

  • Yes. All documents must be fully completed before the notary appointment. The notary cannot fill out, prepare, or make changes to documents for you.

    For legal protection and compliance with Texas notary laws, the notary's role is only to verify identity, witness signatures, and complete the notarization certificate.

    If you have questions about how to complete a document, please contact the document issuer or an attorney before your appointment.

    Documents should also not be signed before the notary arrives, as signatures must typically be witnessed by the notary.

  • No. Documents should not be signed beforehand. The signer must sign the document in the presence of the notary.

  • No. We are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice or prepare legal documents. We only perform notarizations in accordance with Texas notary laws.

  • Yes. ProSigning Notary Group provides mobile notary services for hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. We understand these situations can be time-sensitive and work to accommodate urgent requests whenever possible.

  • Yes. We can coordinate notarizations for inmates at approved correctional facilities, depending on the facility's rules and scheduling procedures. Please contact us in advance so we can confirm requirements and arrange the appointment

  • Yes. Our mobile notary service allows us to travel to homes, offices, hospitals, shipping ports, and other agreed meeting locations to make the notarization process convenient and efficient.

  • Yes. ProSigning Notary Group can assist with notarizations for certain maritime and shipping-related documents when notarization is required. This may include documents related to vessel ownership transfers, cargo affidavits, shipping authorizations, or other maritime paperwork that requires a notarial acknowledgment or jurat.

    Mobile notary services may be available along the Houston Ship Channel and Channelview, Baytown, including but not limited to Kemah, Seabrook, Galveston, and surrounding port ship terminals, and maritime locations, depending on appointment availability and access requirements.

  • All documents must be complete and ready at the time of the appointment. We are not responsible for document errors, and fees will still apply.

  • Some documents require witnesses. Please confirm your document requirements in advance. We may be able to assist with witnesses for an additional fee.

  • We accept the following forms of payment for your convenience:

    • Credit & Debit Cards (processed via Stripe, Square, or PayPal)

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in advance. For certain appointments, a deposit may be required to secure your booking.

  • Some appointments, including after-hours or extended travel, may require a non-refundable deposit. This will be communicated at the time of booking.

  • Additional fees may apply for:

    • Travel outside standard service areas

    • After-hours or emergency appointments

    • Wait time or special circumstances

    All fees will be disclosed prior to confirming your appointment.
