Cancellation, Refund & Safety Policy

Effective Date: July 2, 2026

At ProSigning Notary Group, we value our clients' time and appreciate the opportunity to provide professional mobile notary services. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Appointment Confirmation & Deposits
A deposit may be required to secure an appointment and will be applied toward the total service fee.

Cancellation Policy
Once an appointment has been confirmed, cancellations may be subject to a $35 cancellation fee.
Appointments canceled with less than two (2) hours' notice will incur a $35 cancellation fee and may result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid.

Travel Fees
If the notary has already begun travel to the appointment location, any applicable travel fees are non-refundable.

No-Show Appointments
No-show appointments will result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid and may incur additional fees, including the applicable travel fee and/or the $35 cancellation fee.

Refund Policy
Refunds are not provided for:
  • Completed notarial services
  • Completed loan signing services
  • Completed field inspections
  • Apostille courier or facilitation services already performed
  • Travel already incurred
  • Services that cannot be completed due to the client's failure to provide proper identification, required documents, or the presence of incomplete documents

Safety & Right to Refuse Service
ProSigning Notary Group reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or terminate services at any time if the notary feels threatened, unsafe, harassed, or believes the environment poses a risk to their personal safety.
Services may also be refused if:
  • Proper identification cannot be provided;
  • The signer appears unwilling, coerced, impaired, or unable to understand the document being signed;
  • The document is incomplete or contains blank spaces where prohibited by law; or
  • The requested notarization cannot legally be performed under Texas law.
In such circumstances, any applicable travel fees, deposits, cancellation fees, and services already rendered are non-refundable.

Payment Authorization
By scheduling an appointment, you authorize ProSigning Notary Group to charge the card on file or retain any deposit paid for applicable cancellation fees, no-show fees, travel fees, and services rendered in accordance with this policy.
